Prose Before Hos was founded in 2005 by a couple of pretty good looking guys who will tell you within the first 5 minutes of conversation that they live in Brooklyn. Much like Tina Fey, PBH existed in obscurity until 2008, when we all learned we could make fun of Sarah Palin for a living.
Now, Prose Before Hos is the keystone site to the PBH Network. Devoted to the snarkier side of politics, Prose Before Hos convenes current events with pop culture in an intellectually provocative and entertaining fashion. With an eye for satire, PBH blends original and curated content with mixed media to engage and entertain users. We ask for a reciprocal relationship with our users: comments are appreciated, and encouragement and suggestions on how to better this site are always welcome. About The PBH Staff
Alec is the co-founder and President of the PBH Media Network and Managing Editor of the Speckled Axe. He holds a MSc in Political Economy of Development from the School of Oriental and African Studies in London and a BA from the University of Virginia in History and Economics.
Kit is a graduate of the Indiana University with a triple major in Computer Science, Political Science, and East Asian Languages and Cultures. He enjoys crocheting, casual misogyny, and scrapbooking in his free time. He is known to clown and get around, all while getting down.
Savannah is a Foreign Languages & International Studies and Political Science double major at Bellarmine University and the assistant editor of the PBH Network and Speckled Axe.
Karl (Sports Editor and Anonymous Banker) is a Southern gentleman who secretly pens columns during marketing classes at Columbia Business School. Ladies, he loves the Jersey Shore, candle-lit dinners, and long walks on the beach.
