I went to <a href=\"http:\/\/photos.yahoo.com\/nikeal5\">LA, NYC, Italy, Slovenia, Romania, Chicago, Pittsburgh<\/a>, graduated from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.virginia.edu\">UVa<\/a>, interned with the US State Department, consulted at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nga.mil\">National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency<\/a>, moved into a townhouse in Arlington, right outside of Washington D.C., and just had an all around great year.<\/p>\n<p>It was sad to see 2005 come and go, but that&#8217;s I guess how it is when you &#8216;age&#8217; (though I am only 22).  The years go by, and though I still feel like it&#8217;s 1997, it isn&#8217;t.<\/p>\n<p>In other fun news, I <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ablogistan.com\/archives\/2006\/01\/the_tipsy_bear.html\">published my first article<\/a>, a piece on Russia, at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ablogistan.com\">Ablogistan<\/a>.  It wasn&#8217;t what I expected but wanted to address a few issues concisely and hopefully facilitate discussion on the matter.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It&#8217;s been a fun year.
