I wanted to clarify some of my points from a previous post on Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid<\/a> and the torture scandal.<\/p>\n My main problem with the discussion about the possible CIA consultation of Nancy Pelosi is a consultation on torture techniques does not implicate her<\/em>. Spending the first six years of Bush’s presidency being a mere shill for hardline AIPAC policies while clapping like a nervous Politburo member for the worst of Bush’s war crimes does implicate her<\/em>. A meeting does not define her record, rather, her record is defined by refusing to mount serious opposition to Bush’s absolutely devastating economic and foreign policy.<\/p>\n As such, she is as guilty as Bush or any member of his administration in aiding and abetting torture and war crimes.
