Duh…Odumbo’s only been in office for 3 years. You used numbers based on 2 years and 3 months. If we extrapolate, being unfortunate to have this Deceiver in Chief as our President for a second term, and he continues to piss away our treasury on useless spending, we can expect him to nearly triple the debt left from the George W. Bush administation.
This isn’t an accurate representation. It should be in dollars adjusted to current inflation, aka today’s dollar amounts.
Not only that, but it should be scaled to a per-year amount to differentiate between 4-year and eight-year presidencies. Please use a geometric — rather than arithmetic — calculation of the yearly average. Also interesting would be the same exercise related to who controlled the
congress.
Doing the geometric calculation gives the following:
Reagan: 15.5% per year
Bush I: 11.6% ” ” ”
Clinton: 4.0% ” ” ”
Bush II: 8.0% ” ” ”
Obama: 14.0% ” ” ”
Of course, this is based on the “official” nationl debt figures, which are themselves seriously gamed.
“Odumbo”! WOW! You are so clever sir. derp
