Followup: Bros Icing Bros

On the heels of our own anonymous_banker’s expose of the Bros Icing Bros phenomenon, and the media firestorm that resulted.

One artist, however, has taken the bros icing bros to a heights of self-parody hither to unseen in this fad. Katie, of Sorry I Missed Your Party and Marina Abramovi? Made Me Cry, and incidentally my current e-crush, has recontextualized the latent homoeroticism of fraternal icing in a more explicit homosexual setting. I know I’ve found my sexuality challenged by this important work, even as my hetrosexuality is at the same time reinforced by the strong, beautiful artist herself.
