Neither side can argue facts on this subject. The Quaran dictates that its people can lie if it furthers the Islamic agenda. People can make no more argument against him being Muslim than those that can argue for it.
This isn’t true at all. You’re referring to taquiyya- that a Muslim may make a false renunciation of his faith in order to protect himself if he is under threat from a greater power. It usually isn’t even used by Sunni Muslims either; it is generally accepted to be a Shi’a practice because they have historically been the minority branch of Islam.
I doubt it was the maker of the cartoon that believed Obama was the 2nd coming. Why do I say that? The Democrats don’t give a hoot about religion. It’s the Republicans who are so hard core at their religion that they try to label everybody in a leadership position the antichrist. Course they are also wrong. I’ve read the Bible cover to cover and not once do they say there will be a single antichrist. There is the antichrist spirit. But that is just anything that opposes Christ.
I’ve seen poles on the internet. Most are opinion polls, sure and people have opinions. However, every once in a while I’ll see a poll that basically asks if the viewer can place themselves in another person’s shoes and consistently on those polls, 20% say they can’t.
