What happens when you have a 9% approval rating? In Congress, it gets you re-elected.

This just shows how dumb so many people are who read these polls. I’m not even sure what point this comic is trying to make. No one is happy with Congress, you don’t need a poll to tell you that.
Congress as a whole has an approval rating of 9%, that means there are 535 people to blame. The U.S. votes are not going to strategically vote out each one of these people, therefore unless an individual politician is under pressure, these polls mean absolutely nothing. Politics in this country are all about reelections, the sooner people learn the sad truth, the better off people like this will be. You cannot blame 535 people, narrow your sights instead of bitching for the sake of bitching. Gather yourself and try to get some real change done by taking a stance.
