As a “dressing sexy does not mean i want sex” ad, i think it will. But i think thats stupid. If you are trying to get men not to rape you. This forces you to do one of two things, change the input or the output.
A: Make women so unattractive men will never be tempted (modestly laws in islam, burkas)
B: Change mens reaction from rape, to something else
As a society, we chose B. While men know the consequence of rape and would rarely rape even in nature, there are some obstacles created by idiots. No means yes for example. So this ad adresses the problem perfectly, and i support it. However, while a bit off topic, i hope women aren’t surprised guys aren’t staring at their boobs when they have a few miles of cleavage.
Well I think that’s the really awkward and dangerous line that is being felt out in society.
Being sexual is not the same as saying I’m giving my self over as an object of sex. Therefore you cannot posses me, or rape me, or consider me to be nothing more than boobies.
Whenever a dude goes out looking like a hardcore stud that’s not saying “Yo! Rapists! I’m free meat!” But there is an obvious gender bias whenever someone argues or implies “she was asking for it”.
But I also agree that in OUR society the gender roles we are programed with, no woman should be surprised in the slightest when a man steals a look at the sexxxy parts. And under that knowledge should be aware what impact their clothing has on how men and other women will look at them.
I think it’s something that American culture especially has been working on figuring out since the 60s, and I think it’s getting better, but yeah. Far too many awkward situations still arise.
I don’t care what political correctness says, if you dress to provoke, and you provoke, then who you got what you set out to do. If I wear raw meat on my back on the plains of Africa and a lion eats me, was the lion stupid, or was I stupid?
And yes, men are naturally bigger for a few reasons, and one is so they can have their way with women. It is how our species has survived from the dawn of time. So, yes, “rape” is natural. Civilization is unnatural.

Oh, and I think it’s a great ad….

but really, it’s effective. I like.
Then stop looking like a cheap version of a whore…perhaps.
