A pill is cheaper than an abortion. But you know what is absolutely free and the biggest threat to everyone–fetus or not? Religion-based ignorance and intolerance that weasels its way into legislation.
To extend the analogy, to say that massive regulation ignites the flame for private greed and irresponsibility is like saying the war causes peace.
Put on a robe, don a cross and talk about eternal damnation for those who most fear (and your listeners, too, if they don’t buy into your plan) for a bit, and you’ve got yourself a pretty sweet business model.
